Implants - Other Aspects

What should I bring to my first implantology consultation?

A list of your medication, your referral letter and any relevant medical records are important.

For a first implantology consultation, it is important to be well prepared. Bring a list of your current medication, including dosages. A referral letter from your dentist or specialist helps us assess your situation properly. Do you have medical conditions such as diabetes or heart problems? Bring any relevant records or letters. Any recent X-rays can be shared with the clinician. Write down any questions you have about the treatment, costs or aftercare. If you are anxious, mention this during the consultation. The consultation usually consists of a discussion, an oral examination and sometimes a scan. You will receive a treatment proposal with a schedule and cost estimate. Good preparation helps make the first consultation smooth and clear.
