Infomedics sends and collects invoices on behalf of our practice. This leaves us more time for care and ensures that the financial handling is efficient and clear. Infomedics operates fully in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
Original invoice
After a treatment or visit to our practice, you will receive an original invoice from Infomedics, by email or by post. You have 30 days to pay it.
Reminder
It can happen that a payment is overlooked. In that case, after 30 days you will receive a reminder from Infomedics asking you to pay the invoice within 15 days.
Second reminder with collection costs
Has the amount still not been paid after this period? Infomedics will then send a second reminder. Collection costs are charged for this.
Transfer to the CMIB
If the second reminder is also not paid on time, the claim is transferred to the Centraal Medisch Incassobureau (CMIB), the central medical debt collection agency. You will then receive a formal demand for payment from the CMIB.
