During the first consultation, your oral health and wishes are discussed in detail. Depending on the situation, a treatment plan is drawn up either immediately or shortly after the consultation. In straightforward cases, the plan can be explained on the spot. For more complex treatments, X-rays or scans are analysed first. The treatment plan contains an overview of the steps, duration and costs. You will also receive information about any risks and alternatives. Sometimes the plan is sent to you afterwards by telephone or e-mail. You always have the opportunity to ask questions before you begin. A well-considered decision starts with a clear treatment plan. Your consent is required before treatment begins.
