Implants - Full Arch Implants

How is the fit of a full-arch prosthesis tested?

Through a trial set-up, pressure checks and X-ray verification.

A wax-up prosthesis lets patients approve the shape and colour before final fabrication. Pressure-sensitive films detect irregularities in the occlusion. CBCT scans verify the precise fit on the implants. A trial prosthesis is worn for 24 to 48 hours to assess comfort. Adjustments to the occlusion are made using articulating paper. Aesthetic parameters (length, translucency) are optimised. The final prosthesis is fitted using a certified torque. Eating and speaking tests check function immediately after fitting. A precise fit prevents pressure points and overloading. A multidisciplinary team (surgeon, technician) guarantees an optimal result.
